On Sept. 15, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services announced awards totaling $10 million would aid 129 organizations that want to become community health centers. Two of the 129 centers are in New Jersey. These funds, made available by the Affordable Care Act, support organizations’ development as future health centers.
